Free Chrysalax Free Chrysalax In order for the player to acquire the Free Chrysalax wonder weapon they will need to have activated the Pack a Punch machine. They will then need to interact with a red button on the wall, next to some window shutters in the Observation Tower. Once done this will trigger a short cutscene that the player will either need to watch or choose to skip. Once the cutscene is over the player will need to collect 3 crystals around the map. These can be collected in any order the player wishes. For one of the crystals the player will need to head to the Office and find a purple aether crystal. They will then need to wait for the new enemy (the Abomination) to use its shock attack. The player will need to stand next to the purple aether crystal when this happen so the lightning shoot hits the crystal. When it does a small crystal will now pop out of it that the player needs to pick up. For the 2nd crystal the player will have to wait 2 full rounds from when they pushed the red button in the Observation Tower earlier. They will then need to head to Main Street and if they look up in the sky they will see an orange orb fly down and land inside Jim's Donuts store, behind the counter. It is advised that the player is prepared before starting this next part as it can be very difficult and hectic. Once ready they will need to walk up to the orange crystal and this will start spawning in multiple zombies and mini bosses. The mini bosses that will spawn in are the Plaguehounds, Mimics and Tempests. Once the player has killed all the mini bosses the orange crystal will let off an explosion that will kill any remaining zombies in the area around it. The player can then head behind the counter and pickup the orange crystal. The 3rd crystal can be obtained from a Tormented mini boss. This can be obtained in 2 ways. The easiest way is to go to Main Street and use the crafting table to craft a Flamethrower for 100 blue salvage. The other way, which is not as powerful, is to use the special ability Ring of Fire. The player should head to Main Street (as this is a good place to have Tormentors spawn frequently) and either use the Flamethrower or Ring of Fire on one of the Tormentors. Once done the Tormentor will drop the crystal on the ground which the player needs to pick up. Finally the player will need to head over to the Particle Accelerator and go to the water tank and interact with it which will place all the crystals inside of it. The player will then need to get melee kills in front of the water tank. Once they have killed enough zombies the water tank will let off a big explosion that will kill any zombies near it. Then the Chrysalax will rise from the water tank which the player can interact with in order to pick it up. Both can be found in the Observation Tower and a guide to Pack a Punch can be found above. When the player has PHD Slider they will need to acquire an Arcade Token. These can be found either from killing zombies and they drop on the floor, spending 10,000 essence (points) at the machine in the Arcade or by knifing the coin dispenser in the Arcade once to get 1 free Arcade Token. The player will need to head to the 2nd floor of the Bar (this is where Deadshot Daquiri machine is) and to the right of the RPD wallbuy there is a covered up Arcade Machine. The player will need to train up some zombies near the Arcade Machine and then slide into them and explode them with PHD Slider which will cause their souls to go into the Arcade Machine. Once this is done the player will then need to head over to the Arcade Machine and insert their Arcade Token. Once done the Arcade Machine's screen will change from red to green and then the player can interact with the Arcade Machine to begin the ARC-XD Race. If there are multiple players then all players will be put into the race challenge. The idea of the challenge is to race around a track as fast as possible to get the best reward. Before the player can do this they MUST have fully upgraded their PHD Slider on the Cold War Zombies Main Menu to tier 5, activated the Pack a Punch machine and brought PHD Slider. When the player has PHD Slider they are looking for the Evil Bunny item pick up. This can be found in 3 possible locations and is different every game. In order to get the Evil Bunny the player must slide and jump onto some hole on the ground in multiple places around the map. When they do so. either a power-up or the Evil Bunny will fly out of the hole. The holes can be found in front of the Burger Town/T.V. Store, outside the Video Store and outside the Cinema. Once the player has the Evil Bunny they will need to head over to the Burger Town and to Bubby and place the Evil Bunny in the back of Bubby. This will cause a lockdown event to happen where the player will need to protect Bubby for 2:00 minuets. During this time there will be multiple enemies spawning in to attack Bubby which include zombies, Krasny Soldat and Tormentors. Once they do this the rocket will then take off and the player will now have access to the Pack a Punch area for the rest of the game. Blowing up the Rocket Blowing up the Rocket Once the player presses the green button to launch the rocket in order to access the Pack a Punch area, if they have a explosive weapon or Ray Gun/Mark II and shoot at it then it shall blow up and in the Rocket bay area the player will be rewarded a free 2x points power-up. Random Free Perk Free Random Perk If the player buys a perk on Ascension then after a while it shall start a Space Monkey round. During this round Space Monkeys will attack perk machines that the player has bought from. If the player is able to protect all the machines from the Monkeys then once they kill the final one they shall receive a Max Ammo and Perk Bottle power-up. Once the player picks up the Perk Bottle power-up they shall then be rewarded a random perk they don't already have. Clocks set to 115 115 Clocks If the player looks at the clocks around the map they shall see they are set to the time 1:15 which is the famous zombies specific number 115. Secret Cut Door Secret Cut Door If the player on PC uses noclip on either Black Ops 1/3 Ascension and flys above the open door to the left of Mule Kick, they can see and activate the prompt to buy the door. This will do nothing to the door in game as the door is already open by default. This door however, originally was going to be a door the player would have had to buy with points. Abracadabra How to Activate Music Easter Egg 'Abracadabra' To activate the song 'Abracadabra' by Kevin Sherwood on Ascension you will need to find and interact with 3 Teddy Bears around the map. They are in the following areas. 1st Teddy Bear can be found in the 'Spawn Room'. It is located on the upper walkway on top of some barrels. The 2nd Teddy Bear can be found over by the 'Lunar Lander B' area. It is hidden behind a metal gate. The 3rd Teddy Bear can be found over by 'Lunar Lander C' area. It can be found sitting on top of the wall next to the Gobblegum machine if playing on Black Ops 3 version. If in co-op, only the first player who lays down in front of the machine can obtain the 100 points. Samantha's Hide and Seek Samantha's Hide and Seek: How to Activate Music Easter Egg/Max Ammo 'Samantha's Sorrow' How to complete the Samantha's Hide and Seek Easter Egg and receive a free Max Ammo and activate the song 'Samantha's Sorrow' by Brian Tuey on Ascension Remastered. The player will need to have opened up the Pack a Punch and acquired the Gersh Device before they can begin this. Once the player has done this they need to use the Gersh Device to collect 3 Samantha dolls. The 1st Samantha doll can be found in the Pack a Punch room underneath the metal walkway on top of a pipe. The player will need to throw their Gersh Device underneath the pipe and once done, the black hole from the Gersh Device will collect the Samantha doll. The 2nd Samantha doll is located behind the building where the Wunderfizz Machine is located. It is located on the roof. The 3rd Samantha doll is located over near the Stamin-up Machine. It can be found on a metal scaffolding part of the roof. Once the player has collected all 3 Samantha dolls they will need to interact with the new one that has just spawned on the ground. This can be found outside the Pack a Punch area, next to some burning grass which is behind the wall with the KN-44 wallbuy. Once the player has interacted with the Samantha doll they need to shoot 5 Samantha dolls across the map quickly. The spawn locations for these 5 Samantha dolls are always the same every game. The video below shows all the locations. Finally the player will need to head back over to the area where they interacted with the Samantha doll that was laying down in the burning grass. They will see that the Samantha doll is now standing upright and spinning. The player needs to interact with the Samantha doll and once done, a skeleton arm will pull the Samantha doll underground, a free Max Ammo power-up will spawn and the song will begin to play. Radios/Red Telephones Radios/Red Telephones The player can find and listen to radios scattered across the map. These radios provide backstory to the map Ascension and its characters. The red phones on Ascension Remastered are different to the ones on Ascension as the audio from them has been changed from the Five crew to audio from the Ultimis crew in Call of the Dead. Ascension Main Easter Egg Quest Main Easter Egg Quest The main Easter Egg can only be completed normally with 4 players on both Black Ops 1 and 3 versions. There are however, mods that allow someone to do the main Easter Egg quest on both Black Ops 1 and 3 versions of the game in solo. These mods are ONLY available for the PC versions of the games. Below there is a breakdown of the Easter Egg Quest in both Solo and Co-op perspectives as some steps vary depending on the solo and co-op playthrough. Step 1 The player will need to have activated the Power to start the Easter Egg Quest. It is also advised the player gains access to the Pack a Punch early on too as this area is required later on during the Easter Egg Quest. If you require a guide on how to activate the Power and access Pack a Punch then the video below will explain how to do so. Step 2 In solo and co-op the player will now need to spin the Mystery Box to obtain the Gersh Device. Once the player obtains the Gersh Device they will need to head over to Luna Lander B area (this is where either PHD Flopper (if playing Black Ops 1) and Widow's Wine (if playing Black Ops III) perk machine are located). The player will need to look outside the map boundary and they shall see a sparking generator. The player will need to throw the Gersh Device at the generator and this will suck the generator into the black hole of the Gersh Device. Step 3 The players will now need to head over to the Lunar lander C area (where Stamin-up perk machine is located) and come over to an area under the metal staircase where there is a large puddle of water. They shall see a computer terminal with a static tv screen. The player will need to interact with this and the tv shall show a picture of the Illuminati symbol and the step will be complete. Step 4 For this step the player or players will need to find and interact with red buttons on the wall during a Monkey Round. The look of the red button is shown below. The video below shows all the locations of the red buttons. Bear in mind that depending on which version of the map you are playing the red button over at Lunar Lander A will be either next to PHD Flopper (Black Ops 1) or Widow's Wine (Black Ops 3) perk machine. Solo In solo the player will only need to interact with 1 of the red buttons on the wall. Once they do so then the red buttons will all go into the wall and the step will be completed. Co-op In co-op all 4 players will need to head over to one of the red button locations as shown above and all at the exact same time interact with the red buttons on the walls. Once they time it perfectly then the red buttons will go into the wall and the step will be complete. Step 5 In both solo and co-op the players must have fully opened up the Pack a Punch area if not already done. If needed a guide for how to do this can be found above. The players will need to head down to the Pack a Punch area where the rocket was originally located. They shall see on one of the walls is a clock. The players need to stand on the giant round metal floor for 1 minuet without stepping off the round metal floor to complete this step. If an player steps off the round metal floor then the clock will reset and they will have to start the 1 minuet again. The players do not need to stare at the clock for the entire 1 minuet. Once the minuet is done this will set off a nuke and end the round indicating the step is completed and the clock will go into the wall. Step 6 For the next step the players will need to spell out the word LUNA by using the Lunar landers and calling them to certain areas of the map. An example of what the letters look like is shown below. Solo In solo the player will not be standing on the Lunar landers like in co-op. Instead the player will be calling the Lunar landers to specific locations by walking up to the terminals where the landers are and interacting with them. The order that they need to be called in are as follows. Call the Lunar lander to the Spawn Room, call the Lunar lander over to Lander C area (where Stamin-up is located), call to Spawn Room, call to Lander B area (where Speed Cola is located) and then finally call back to Lander C area (where Stamin-up is located). Once complete all the letters to spell Luna will be collected and the step will be complete. Co-op In co-op 1 player will always need to be standing on the Lunar lander when being called to the various locations. The other players shall be calling the Lunar lander to the specific locations. The order that they need to be called in are as follows. Call the Lunar lander to the Spawn Room, call the Lunar lander over to Lander C area (where Stamin-up is located), call to Spawn Room, call to Lander B area (where Speed Cola is located) and then finally call back to Lander C area (where Stamin-up is located). Once complete all the letters to spell Luna will be collected and the step will be complete. Step 7 Depending on which version of the game is being played and how many players are playing will determine how to complete this final step. At this point the player will need to Pack a Punch multiple weapons and have gained certain lethal equipment as well. All of which is listed below for each game and how many players in the game. Solo Black Ops 1 Co-op Black Ops 1 Solo Black Ops 3 Co-op Black Ops 3 Once all the above is obtained then the player or players will need to head to the Lunar lander C area (where Stamin-up is located) and they shall see there are multiple white lights lite up. There is one on the ground which is the one the player or players will need to focus on. If playing in solo then the player will need to throw a Gersh Device onto the white light then once its activated shoot a full clip of the upgraded Thundergun at the light and then quickly switch to their upgraded Ray Gun and shoot that at the white light. If done fast enough then the light shall rise up into the sky and the player will receive a 90 second death machine and a perkaholic as a reward. If the player goes down at any point then they shall loose their perkaholic. Solo If playing in solo then the player will need to throw a Gersh Device onto the white light then once its activated shoot a full clip of the upgraded Thundergun at the light and then quickly switch to their upgraded Ray Gun and shoot that at the white light. If done fast enough then the light shall rise up into the sky and the player will receive a 90 second death machine and a perkaholic as a reward. If the player goes down at any point then they shall loose their perkaholic. Co-op If playing in co-op then a player will need to throw a Gersh Device and another player throw the Matryoshka Dolls onto the white light at the same time. The player will need to head over to the 'Fishing Hut' and inside there are 4 metal plates on the walls. Once the player has activated the Samantha Doll on the floor they will then need to head over to the bridge just outside the 'Fishing Hut' and the Flogger and shoot the Samantha Dolls that spawn on either side of the bridge 5 times. Once done the player will hear a Samantha Laugh. Finally the player will need to head back over to the back of the 'Fishing Hut' and interact with the now spinning Samantha Doll. Once done a skeleton arm will pull the doll underground and a free Max Ammo power-up will spawn and the song will begin to play. Free Wunderwaffe DG 2 Free Wunderwaffe DG 2 The Wunderwaffe DG-2 makes a return to Shi No Numa and there is a side Easter Egg to be able to acquire one for free. There are 3 parts that need to be picked up to be able to build the Wunderwaffe DG-2. The 1st part can be found inside the 'Fishing Hut' over on the 2nd level of the shelf next to the door to the 'Fishing Hut'. The player will now need to head over to the 'Comms Room Exterior' where they will see, outside the 'Comms Room' hut, in the water there is a green radio tower generator. The player will need to interact with this to place the part that they picked up earlier into it. They will then need to end the current round they are on and in the next round they will need to protect the generator from zombies, boom schreier and sturmkrieger. After a certain amount of time the enemies will all die and the player can now interact with the generator and pick up the charged-up weapon part. The 2nd part must be picked up and then charged-up. To do this the player will need to pick up 2 parts inside of the 'Comms Room' hut. 1 Part can be found on a shelf inside of a black radio - this is a bulb and the other part can be found on a table in the next room. This is the part needed for a trap. The player will then need to head to the 'Storage' hut and activate the electric door trap by activating the trap switch behind the perk fountain wall for 1000 points. Once done the trap must kill 3 zombies and as soon as it does the trap switch box will break and open up. The player will now need to place the trap piece they picked up earlier inside the trap box. This will immediately activate the trap once again and the player must get 6 kills with the trap. Once done, if they look at the crafting table for the Wunderwaffe DG-2 they will now see 2 lit up light bulbs. The 3rd part can only be obtained from round 15 and after. This is because the player needs Zaballa (the mini boss of the map) to spawn in. Once the player has Zaballa they need to head over to 'War Room' which is in the main hut, downstairs near the door that leads to 'Storage' and get Zaballa to use her mine attack on the player next to a tesla coil device. She needs to hit this device 3 times to fully activate the device. Once she does, the player can walk up to the table by the device and pickup the 3rd weapon part - the other light bulb. Finally the player now needs to head over to the 'Storage' hut and go over to the crafting bench and interact with it, which will now build the Wunderwaffe DG-2. Radios / Ancient Ruins Radios / Ancient Ruins There are multiple Radios and Ancient Ruin Tablets around the map that contain different parts of the story for Shi No Numa. Once the player walks up and interacts with either a Radio or Ancient Ruin they will be able to listen to some story segments. They can listen to the same Radio or Ancient Ruin as many times as they like in a game. These can only be listened to in game, unlike the Intel in Cold War which could be picked up in game and then listened to on the menu. Dark Aether Bunny/Free Points Dark Aether Bunny/Free Points The Dark Aether Bunny Easter Egg returns again in this map. This Easter Egg will reward the player with many Bonus point power-up pickups, Fire Sale power-up as well as multiple other weapons and grenade types. The Main Easter Egg Quest must be half complete, up to the filling up of the perk fountain with blood step, before this Easter Egg can be started. If you do not know how to do the Main Easter Egg steps up to this point, then use the Main Easter Egg Quest guide below to guide you up to this point. The player will need to head to the 'Fishing Hut Exterior' and gather up a hoard of zombies in front of the Flogger trap. Once they have a large amount of zombies they will need to run into the 'Flogger Courtyard' and activate the Flogger trap. This will then kill the zombies and fling their bodies over to an empty perk fountain. This will then fill up this perk fountain with zombie blood, which is required to be able to do this Easter Egg, becuase the player must be in zombie blood vision in order to find the Dark Aether Bunny body parts. If the player needs more blood then they can repeat the steps here to refill the perk fountain. Now the player has zombie blood they need to find 3 different parts for the Dark Aether Bunny while in the zombie blood vision. These can be obtained in any order the player wishes to do them. If the player heads over to the 'Doctor's Quarter Exterior' they will see, underneath the zipline platform, there is the head part. The player needs to head to the 'Doctor's Quarter Hut' door and activate the trap box, which will bring the zipline platform down to the hut. While it's moving towards the hut, the player will need to get underneath it when its lower down and then interact with it to pick up the Dark Aether Bunny body part. The player will need to head over to the 'Fishing Hut Exterior' and just outside of the 'Fishing Hut', over in the water next to the fence, they will find the legs for the Dark Aether Bunny. The player needs to purchase the mystery box at least 3 to 4 times before going into the zombie blood vision. Once done the player should go into the zombie blood vision and then interact with the mystery box once again. Either on that purchase or the next, the box will laugh and move to a new area on the map. While the box is in the laughing animation and the box lifts up into the air, the player will need to quickly interact with the Dark Aether Bunny head part sitting on the pedestal. As soon as the player has picked up all the Dark Aether Bunny parts there will be multiple Bonus Points power-ups, Fire Sale power-ups, Weapons and grenade type spawns in front of the player to interact with and use within that game they are playing. Creepy Zombie Challenge Creepy Zombie Challenge There is a mini Easter Egg the player can do on either Shi No Numa or The Archon where the player can find a zombie hidden outside of the map play space. Depending on where the zombie is located will determine what weapon is required for the challenge. There are various challenges for each weapon which involve the floating zombie head from the escort objective. Once the player completes one of these challenges they are rewarded with a load of point drops, max ammo drop and a case with a random level 2 pack a punched weapon. Main Easter Egg Quest Main Easter Egg Quest This is the Main Easter Egg Quest of the map that explains the story of Vanguard Zombies going forward into the next map, The Archon. This quest is about trying to recover Saraxi's lost memories. Step 1 The player must open up to the 'Doctor's Quarters Exterior' and come to the small island with a monolith on it currently covered in red branches. On round 6 the player will want to stand next to this monolith and kill 3 Boom S chreiers next to it, which will remove the red branches from it. Step 2 The player will now need to find 3 cipher wheel parts around the map. They are located in the 'Doctor's Quarters Hut' in the back room on some boxes, in the 'Dormitory' over on a table next to some beds and the M1 Carbine wall buy and over in the 'Dig Site' on a table opposite the Pack a Punch machine. The player will now need to find the 3 cipher symbols that they need to input into the cipher wheel. There are 3 pages with these on around the map and these symbols change every game. They are located over in the 'Excavation Room' on a table near the door that leads to 'Storage'. The player will need to either shoot or knife a stack of papers off of the symbol page in order to see the symbol. Another can be found in the 'Comm Room Hut' over on a table next to all the radio equipment. The final symbol can be found over in the 'Dig Site' on the crafting bench, next to the Pack a Punch machine. Now the player has all the cipher wheel parts and cipher symbols, they will need to head back to the monolith over at the 'Doctor's Quarters Exterior' and walk up to the monolith and interact with it to place in the cipher wheel parts. Once these parts are placed in, the player will need to interact again with the monolith and now they will be placed into a section where they can spin each cipher wheel part around to get the correct symbols. The player cannot be attacked by any enemies while using the cipher wheel's puzzle. The aim is to get all the correct symbols to the top of the cipher wheels. Down below is a cheat sheet that shows all the possible cipher symbols that are in the game. Use this in order to match the cipher symbol pages which the player found earlier to the ones on the cheat sheet. This can then be used to find the correct symbols for each of the cipher wheels to match to the top of each one. Once all are correct the player will need to lock the code and if done correctly, the cipher wheels will light up red. Step 3 At this point the player must have the Wunderwaffe DG-2. If they need a guide on how to obtain a free one then the guide above will show how to obtain this. Once the Wunderwaffe DG-2 is obtained the player will see around the monolith island there are 4 stone pillars. Depending on how many players are in the game will determine how many of these are lit up with a red glow. Once the player is ready to start the next step, they need to interact with the red pillar and if in co-op all players will need to interact with the red pillars at the same time. Once this is done the player will be put into a timed lockdown sequence. During this, the player should stay around the monolith island and round up the zombies. The player will need to kill zombies with a blue orb around them by shooting them with the Wunderwaffe DG-2. Try and kill multiple at once with one shot. If the player completes this in enough time then they will see a blue orb come out of the monolith and this will start a mini story segment. If the player fails this step and does not complete it in enough time then they will need to end the round they are on and then start this step again on the next round. Step 4 The player will now need to head to the 'Fishing Hut Exterior' just outside the Flinger trap. They will need to train up a large hoard of zombies, then run through into the 'Courtyard' and turn on the Flinger trap. This will then fling the zombies dead bodies over onto the empty perk fountain in the 'Courtyard' which will fill it up with zombie blood. Once the fountain is full the player will want to save 1 or 2 zombies at the end of the round and then drink from the zombie blood fountain. This will put the player into zombie blood vision. In this vision the player can be hurt by the zombies. The player will then need to look around the main hut until they find a red orb. Once they find the red orb they will need to interact with it and follow it to its intended destination. During this segment the player will be attacked by multiple Boom S chreiers . Once the orb has made it to its location a blue mirror piece will spawn that the player needs to interact with. In order for the player to obtain the 2nd mirror part they will need to drink from the zombie blood fountain once again. Once this is done they need to head over to this map that can be found in the 'War Room'. On this map will be a red X marked which shows the location for where the mirror part is located. The player will then need to head over to that part of the map. Once there they will then need to look up in the bannister and shoot down the mirror piece so that they can then pick it up. All possible locations for the mirror piece to spawn in. Step 5 Now the player has both mirror parts they will need to head over to the 'Dig Site' and down in the middle they will need to interact with the middle podium and this will place all mirror parts. The player should now notice that one of the 4 pillars around the area will now have a blue orb above it. If in co-op, the number of players will determine how many of the pillars have blue orbs above them. Once the player interacts with a blue orb it will fly off to a certain area of the map and the player must shoot this orb 3 times for it to then fly back over to the 'Dig Site'. If not done in enough time the player will have to try once again by interacting with the pillar again in the 'Dig Site'. Below is a great video done by InsaneGamer52 which shows all locations the blue orb can travel to and where to shoot each one. Step 6 The player will now be heading into the boss fight. So they should make sure they are fully prepared before starting it. To start the boss fight the player will need to interact with the pillar with the blue orb on top of it in the 'Dig Site'. In co-op this will be dependant on how many players are playing. Once done this will start a mini cutscene. Once the cutscene is finished this will start a 3 phase boss fight. The 1st phase will involve blue orb zombies. The zombies will need to be trained down in the pedestal area and shot at with the DG-2 Wunderwaffe. Try shooting multiple of these blue orb zombies at once. Once enough are killed, a giant blue orb will spawn around the 'Dig Site'. The player will then need to wait for the boss (Echo) to move into this blue orb and once done, they will want to shoot at the echo's head until eventually it shows invulnerable instead of damage numbers. Phase 2 is the same as the 1st, only this time the blue orbs will be on the Boom S chreier . Once again kill them with the DG-2 Wunderwaffe and then when enough are killed the giant blue orb will spawn over the 'Dig Site'. Once again repeat what was done the 1st time for attacking the Echo. Phase 3 is the same as the previous 2 only this time the blue orbs will be on the Stormkrigers . Once again kill them with the DG-2 Wunderwaffe and then when enough are killed the giant blue orb will spawn over the 'Dig Site'. Once again repeat what was done the previous times for attacking the Echo. This time the Echo will die. Once the Echo dies a few cutscenes will play. After this the 2 mirror pieces will attach together and the player can now pick up the mirror and then the Easter Egg quest will be complete and they will be rewarded with multiple pick-ups.
